Running your own business is hard. But if you’re tearing your hair out over a particular task in your business, just know that ‘there is an app for that’.

Technology can help you to streamline your workflows and simplify your business, so you can get on with doing the things that you’re best at and that you enjoy.

3 Things to Consider When Choosing a Free Small Business App

  • Look for integrations. You will get the most out of your software when you can seamlessly integrate it with the software and tools you already use.
  • Do your research. Read online reviews of the product before integrating it into your business, or ask colleagues what they think of it.
  • Don’t favour cost-cutting over productivity. Most free apps have a paid tier with more functionality and features. Don’t choose a free app over a paid option if the free version doesn’t fully do the job you want it to!
