Project Overview

During Resilient Ready’s evolution, founding company, corporate2community, has been funded to deliver a FREE four week project to build resilient business communities across Livingstone Shire in Queensland.

The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit is an innovative solution tailored to building localised resilience in all types of organisations within a community.

This Bushfire Recovery Initiative is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to empower local businesses to get ahead of future disasters.

What is the project?

The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project is an innovative online program developed to help build resilience capabilities in businesses and communities.

The four week program has been created to build regional conversations, while encouraging businesses of all sizes to make small changes that we know will have a big impact.

The program involves a total of 20 micro-learning modules released over four weeks, each with a resilience theme. The modules come with a simple yes or no question and a case study of a local business owner.

Project outcomes include data to identify local business community vulnerabilities, an upskilling of knowledge and positive behaviour change.

Who is the project for?

The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project is FREE for all business owners, operators and employees operating within the Local Government Area listed below:

  • Livingstone Shire QLD, including Rockhampton

Micro, small-to-medium and large business sizes from all industries across the region are invited to participate and benefit.

Business chamber members and non-members are welcome.
