This Bushfire Recovery Initiative is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to empower local businesses to get ahead of future disasters.

The toolkit really fills a gap for businesses with resilience tips and knowledge that are not otherwise available.

The first module went live on Monday 30 May 2022. Registrations remained open until the program closed in July 2022.
The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project is an innovative online program developed to help build resilience capabilities in businesses and communities.
The four week program has been created to build regional conversations, while encouraging businesses of all sizes to make small changes that we know will have a big impact.
The program involves a total of 20 micro-learning modules released over four weeks, each with a resilience theme. The modules come with a simple yes or no question and a case study of a local business owner.
Project outcomes include data to identify local business community vulnerabilities, an upskilling of knowledge and positive behaviour change.
