Bushfires greatly impacted Southern NSW business communities in 2019-2020. With the support of 12 local Government councils, Resilient Ready’s parent company, corporate2community, has been funded to deliver a FREE 18 month project to build resilient business communities across Southern NSW.
The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit is an innovative solution tailored to building localised resilience in all types of organisations within a community.
Funded by the Bushfire Recovery and Resilience Fund (BCRRF) this project will empower local businesses to get ahead of future disasters.

What is the project?
The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project is an innovative online program developed to help build resilience capabilities in businesses and communities.
The 18 month program has been created to build regional conversations, while encouraging businesses of all sizes to make small changes that we know will have a big impact.
The program involves a total of 26 micro-learning modules released over 12 months, each with a resilience theme. The modules come with a simple yes or no question and a case study of a local business owner.
Project outcomes include data to identify local business community vulnerabilities, an upskilling of knowledge and positive behaviour change.
The Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project in Southern NSW is FREE for all business owners, operators and employees operating within the Local Government Areas listed below:
Micro, small-to-medium and large business sizes from all industries across the region are invited to participate and benefit.
Business chamber members and non-members are welcome.
The 18 month Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit Project in Southern NSW received funding from the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund (BCRRF) grant through the joint Commonwealth/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
