Building better business resilience in 2022

Reflecting on the past 12 months, Resilient Ready has come a long way and touched a lot of lives and livelihoods in the process.

We have been privileged to work with many organisations delivering real and meaningful change in their communities and help them to disaster-proof their businesses.

We have pulled together some of our favourite 2022 project milestones to remind ourselves that what gets measured ends up being improved upon, so consider this our baseline!

FAR AND WIDE

• Worked across 3 states – NSW, SA, QLD – to deliver resilience programs to local business communities.
• Helped businesses across 108 communities (cities and towns) across 26 local government areas to build their resilience.

LOCAL CAPABILITIES

• Engaged 6 local people as part of our Resilient Ready team on our grant-funded projects.
• Co-authored 1 White Paper in the Blue Mountains with disaster experts Daniel Aldrich and Val Ingham.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING

• Created 30 micro-learning modules created with and for small to medium businesses.
• Welcome 400+ businesses into our BCR Toolkit program to build community resilience

GIVING BACK

• Donated more than 200 hours to accelerate local business community projects.
• Presented our resilience approach at 10+ disaster, emergency, and business events.
